Both the Craven Herald and the Harrogate Advertiser have reported news that Tory MP for Skipton and Ripon, Julian Smith, is tipped to lose his seat at the next general election – to the Labour candidate!

The poll was held in November of this year and suggests there could be a swing towards Labour, sufficient to return a Labour MP for the constituency.
